A Chatham home suffered heavy damage after a car crashed into the building Wednesday.
According to Chatham-Kent police, a 68-year-old woman lost control of her Ford Escape, leaving the roadway and striking the house on Berry Street.
What remained was massive hole in the side of the house.
The driver and the lone occupant in the house were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Damage is estimated at $200,000.
