St. Thomas police say two men have been arrested for allegedly operating a marijuana grow operation.
According to police, officers with the St. Thomas Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant Thursday night at two separate addresses in the Talbot Street area; not far from Arthur Voaden Secondary School.
Police say they discovered a total of 829 growing plants and 645 grams of dried marijuana with a combined street value of $835,542. Police also discovered $1,500 cash, one vehicle, two iPhones and other drug paraphernalia.
Officers have charged 37-year-old Keith White and 44-year-old David Clark, both of St. Thomas, with two counts of production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and theft under $5,000.
They will appear in court Friday morning for a bail hearing.
