Robberies lead to three arrests: St. Thomas

The St. Thomas Police Service has arrested a man in connection to a robbery that took place on Talbot Street.

Around 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the incident. After reviewing security footage, police said a 40-year-old St. Thomas man was responsible.

The man was arrested and released with a court date.

At 4:30 p.m. the same day, police were called again to the same store for another shoplifter.

The STPS arrested a 42-year-old St. Thomas man, who was charged with theft. Another man nearby was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
