The London Police Service has laid several charges in two separate Cyber Crime Unit investigations this week.
On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at a Clarke Road residence in Granton, Ont.
As a result of the evidence found, Andrew Shainline, 27, has been charged with:
- telecommunication with person under or believed under 18 years for specific criminal offences
- three counts of telecommunication with person under or believed under 16 years for specific criminal offences
- sexual assault
- sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
On Tuesday, police executed a search warrant at a Simcoe Street residence in the City of London as part of a child pornography investigation that began in December 2013.
As a result of the evidence obtained, 46-year-old Bradley Lavoie of London, has been charged with:
- three counts of possession of child pornography
- make available child pornography
- access child pornography
