The Town of Saugeen Shores has declared a significant weather event as winter weather continues. The notice will be in place until the town announces otherwise.

Residents are asked to be careful when using roads or sidewalks. Due to the volume of snow, it could take crews longer to get the town cleared.

Saugeen Shores also advises against unnecessary travel.

Facilities run by the municipality are open for scheduled programming for those who can get there safely. You can contact your league or program director for further cancellation updates.

Once the significant weather event has been declared over, the town will update its website and social media pages.
