Assault investigation leads to arrest in Kincardine

Assault charges have been laid following an incident on Sunday in Kincardine.

Around 10:30 p.m., South Bruce OPP received reports of an assault at an address on Upper Lorne Beach Road. Police arrived on scene and conducted an investigation.

That investigation determined two people had a physical confrontation. Minor injuries were sustained.

As a result, two people are facing charges. A 39-year-old Sarnia man has been charged with assault with a weapon.

A 34-year-old South Middlesex woman has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
