A man whose house was hit by a vehicle Friday evening is now offering a reward for the identification of the driver.
Derek Tang says he would like to see the individual charged and is offering $1,000 to that end.
"So if we don't find the driver, I'm on the hook for a $1,000 deductible anyways. That money is spent in my eyes so I would like the driver to be caught in that case."
On Friday evening, a vehicle travelling along Village Green Avenue at Guildford Crescent in south London, left the road and struck the home and then fled.
Tang says the whole house shook upon impact. He estimates the damage at between $10,000 and $15,000.
He also says the impact was just below his two-year-old son's bedroom. His son was sleeping at the time.
The crash caused a small fire that was quickly put out with the help of a neighbour.
Police are investigating the crash and Tang wants to help by offering this reward.
"He almost hit my sleeping son and almost lit my house on fire so I want to see that individual be charged to the fullest extent," he says.
Neighbour say the vehicle was a white Hyundai Santa Fe.
