Police now say that remains found by workers at a Komoka construction site on Wednesday are historical in nature.
They were uncovered by a construction crew at a development site near Oxbow Drive and Valleyview Drive.
Experts examined the bones and determined they are historical and have no forensic interest.
It is no longer a police investigation.
The Registrar of Burial Sites, War Graves, Abandoned Cemeteries and Cemetery Closures has been informed and it will be working closely with the developer.
