The pre-trial hearing for London Mayor Joe Fontana was held Tuesday at the London courthouse.
The proceedings were held in private, involving just a judge the Crown attorneyu and the defence lawyer.
Fontana is facing three criminal charges including fraud in connection with a government cheque which was allegedly used as a down payment for the wedding of one of his sons.
The case now moves ahead to December 10th when a date will be chosen for his trial, which is expected to be held early in the new year.
