A post-mortem examination is complete for a four-year-old boy who died following a farming accident in Southgate Township in Grey County.
Grey County OPP were called to a farm on Hwy. 89 at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday.
OPP say a large tractor tire fell over on top of him while he was playing in the area. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma consistent with begin trapped under a tractor tire.
The victim was transported by ambulance to hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
Foul play is not suspected.
The deceased’s identity is being withheld out of respect for the family.
