London police have released the name of a 57-year-old man who died in an apartment fire on Walnut Street.
Police say Sean Delaney died in the fire at 85 Walnut Street on Oct. 10. The cause of death has been determined to be smoke inhalation.
Members of the arson unit and major crime section are working with the Ontario Fire Marshal and the Coroner’s Office in the investigation.
The fire resulted in one fatality two peopleremain in hospital in critical condition.
Police say the fire started in Delaney’s apartment. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, police are not looking for any suspects in relation to this fire.

As the investigation continues, more details are about the harrowing experience are being shared by tenants.
Maria Garcia lives on the second floor of the building, and many are calling her a hero afte rshe ran from apartment to apartment banging on doors to get people to leave.
She even banged on the door of apartment 214, Delaney's unit, but while everyone else scrambled out she says he refused to leave, "[I knocked] three times, you coming? You look [from] your apartment, there's fire."
Resident RIck Robichaud says Garcia shares credit with the London Fire Department, which he describes as working like a well-oiled machine.
"Still four or five days later it shakes you up, you wake up crying...[the firefighters] dragged them two boys out and they were dead. I mean I seen enough death in my lifetime to know those two men were completely dead...and they pumped them and they didn't stop, and because of that they're in critical condition fighting for their lives, but at least they're still alive."
He adds that many in the building knew Delaney was struggling with mental health issues, "The man was very suicidal and he was hell-bent on getting out of this world, there was nothing to stop that guy."
