A crash in the County of Brant has led to criminal charges against two people from Sarnia.
Brant County OPP were called to a two-vehicle collision at White Swan Road and Holditch School Road around 3:35 p.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival, officers were told a male and female had fled the area on foot, and the two suspects were soon located.
Further investigation led officers to locate numerous items that were reportedly stolen.
As a result, Brandon McNevan, 23, and Nicole Martindale, 18, both from Sarnia are facing the following criminal charges:
- nine counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- fail to comply with recognizance
Both were being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
