An Embro resident has won $2.5 million in last Wednesday's Lotto 6/49 draw.
Ronald Galloway shared the $5-million jackpot on March 4th with another winning ticket sold in Oshawa.
Picking up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto he said, “I was ecstatic when I found out I had a winning ticket...I started crying tears of joy!”
He says he was at home when he realized he had won, and already has plans for the money.
“It was such a relief. I plan on sharing my winnings with my kids. It will definitely make life easier!”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Ayr Dollar Store on Stanley Street in Ayr.
