Norfolk County OPP are investigating after hundreds of pigs were reportedly stolen from a farm on Norfolk County Road 28 in the Houghton area.
Police were called to the scene on Friday morning for reports of that a number of animals had gone missing between late April and mid-June.
Investigators say the resident was raising several thousand animals and after an inventory found that about 500 pigs were misisng.
The value of the theft is estimated at about $90,000.
