Middlesex OPP are investigating a stabbing incident.
Just before 5:00 a.m. Sunday, police received a 911 call reporting that a man had been stabbed with a knife, following a verbal altercation at a residence in the 300 block of Pannell Lane, in Adelaide-Metcalfe.
A 42 year old man suffered multiple, non-life threatening stab wounds.
He was transported to hospital where he remains in fair condition.
A 21 year old male suspect from Strathroy Caradoc, Ontario, fled the scene in a car.
He was arrested by Chatham-Kent Police and is in custody.
Charges are pending.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
