OPP say a suspect was arrested Thursday in connection with an investigation into the shooting death of 66-year-old Carson Ireland.
Ireland was found dead after a shooting was reported at a home on River Road on the Oneida of the Thames First Nation, southwest of London, in late December.
There have been unconfirmed reports that it was a woman who called police, saying a masked gunman entered the home and shot her husband.
In a press release, police said, "the Middlesex OPP Crime Unit and Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police has arrested an adult male in relation to the murder. "
On Friday, OPP said 21-year-old Brennan Westley Nicholas had been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting.
The investigation continues.
