London police are searching for a suspect wanted in a downtown robbery over the weekend.
On Saturday around 2:10 p.m., a lone man walked into a business at 223 Dundas St. and assaulted the store clerk multiple times with a weapon.
The suspect fled on foot with some cash.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
The suspect is described as white, approximately 20 to 35 years-old, 5'7", 150 lbs., brown hair that was longer on the top and shaved at the sides.
He was wearing a grey long sleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans and blue running shoes and was carrying a yellow shopping bag at the time of the incident.
Members of the public are urged not approach the suspect if spotted and contact 9-1-1 or London police immediately.
