London police seized guns and drugs in raids on King Edward Avenue and Wavell Street.
On Thursday, members of the guns and drugs section executed search warrants at two residences.
Police seized a loaded .32 calibre revolver, five rounds of 32 calibre ammunition, 80 grams of cocaine valued at $8,000, 605 grams of marijuana valued at $6,050, one gram of cannabis resin valued at $40 and $1,015 in Canadian currency.
As a result of this investigation, a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both of London, are charged jointly with:
- possession of a scheduled II substance (cannabis resin)
- possession of a scheduled I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
- possession of a scheduled II substance for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana)
- numerous firearms-related offences
