A 31 year old Grey Highlands man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting two OPP officers.
Around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Grey County OPP were called to a home on Lorne Street in Markdale for an unwanted person.
The suspect had been drinking and was verbally abusive towards the home owner and refused to leave.
The man allegedly assaulted one of the responding officers along with an additional officer.
The first officer was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and released.
The suspect sustained minor injuries.
He was treated at hospital and released into police custody.
The suspect will appear in court June 23.
