The Sifto Salt mine in Goderich is hiring after a winter season that has kicked demand into high gear.
An estimated 43 new full-time jobs are expected to be added by April. In addition, another 50 workers are being recalled from short-term layoff.
Most of the new positions will be general labour, but some skilled trades will be hired as well.
The new workers will be put to immediate work replenishing salt stocks across the region.
Snowstorms and cold weather means there's been more road salt used this year than in years past.
