Snowfall moving into the region on Wednesday, colder air on the way
Some roads could be slick on Wednesday as light snowfall moves through the area.
"As we head towards 11 a.m. to about the noon hour, the light snowfall will start and then the chance for flurries as we head into the afternoon. This is associated with a low-pressure area moving by to the south," said CTV News London Meteorologist, Julie Atchison.
"Behind that, some colder air will filter in and that will lead to some off-lake snowfall and the potential for a few snow squalls in midwestern Ontario overnight into Thursday morning, likely in the southern part of Bruce County just brushing by northern Huron," Atchison added.
As we push towards Thursday, a clipper comes in Thursday night with a burst of snowfall, with another opportunity for a little bit of light accumulation and then on Friday, the potential for some flurries.
Daytime highs over the next couple of days will be anywhere from plus one to minus one.
The official start of the winter season is Saturday.
