Environment Canada has issued a statement, asking the public to be cautious Wednesday, as wind gusts could reach speeds of 70km/h.
The statement says London-Middlesex, Elgin, Huron and Perth could see strong gusts into the overnight, with the potential for winds to reach even as high as 90km/h in some communities. Environment Canada says a deepening low pressure system over far northern Ontario will track northeastwards, tightening the pressure gradient between the two systems.
Environment Canada says areas closest to eastern Lake Erie will see the strongest gusts.
