The Emerald Ash Borer is focusing its appetite on Grey County's trees.
The insect has already been confirmed in Bruce, Huron and Wellington Counties.
A Canadian Food Inspection Agency spokeswoman says the bugs have usually been in an area for three to four years before they are found due to their ability to evade detection.
The insects were found in a cluster of municipality owned trees just south of Meaford.
