One person has died and three are in hospital after a group of six males setting up a large tent south of Watford were hit by an electrical shock on Thursday evening.
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. at a home in the 8000 block of LaSalle Line, between Hardy Creek Road and Salem Road.
Provincial police say six employees of a London-area company were setting up a tent for a family event when one of the poles hit a hydro line.
Two people were found without vital signs and another two suffered serious injuries. Two additional crew members were not injured.
Middlesex-London and Lambton County emergency crews responded to the scene along with local fire crews and the ORNGE air ambulance service.
Two people were transported to hospital in Strathroy by land ambulance and two others airlifted to a London hospital.
One man has now died in hospital due his injuries.
Hydro One and the Ministry of Labour have both attended the scene.
OPP say the investigation continues and further information will be released once it has been completed.
