Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne was kept scrambling in London Friday as she was caught up in a protest by physiotherapists at the office of her Health Minister, Deb Matthews, and then was grilled about election promises made to Londoners about jobs.

Wynne said one of her priorities is bringing a new Samsung plant to London but couldn’t’ say when that would happen.

“Its an ongoing conversation, there's no abandonment of that project, its just taken some time to get there, but we are very committed to doing that.”

She also continued to maintain that she wants to keep jobs in the horseracing industry, an important part of the London area economy.

“Its going to be a smaller industry, but that doesn't mean it can't be a viable, sustainable industry. So that's out goal,” she said. “We’re going to have an integrated gaming strategy that includes horseracing; it just makes sense to me.”

Wynne also spoke often of the need for jobs, particularly for youth and that she would give employers the tools they need to create jobs.
