A post mortem completed in London Wednesday on human remains found in St. Thomas indicate the death does not appear to be suspicious.
The examination was completed by a forensic pathologist with the assistance of a forensic anthropologist and members of the St. Thomas police Identification Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit.
Police say the remains are those of a female between the ages of 50 and 60 years old and the cause of death does not appear to be suspicious.
Investigators will be using DNA testing to try to identify the woman, but it could be some time before any results are available.
The investigation into remains continues.
