Police are looking for answers after a dead dog was found in Lake Erie at Long Point Provincial Park.
Norfolk County OPP say the dog had been stuffed into a pillowcase, which was seen floating in the water by a person camping at the park Friday evening.
The pillowcase was brought to shore, and park wardens notified.
Police are now trying to track down the owner of the dog or anyone else with information about how it ended up in the lake.
They describe the dog as being medium-sized with “reddish brown” hair. The pillowcase is white and brown.
