Negotiations between the City of London and CUPE Local 101 continued Monday after re-starting on Sunday.
Talks with a provincial mediator reportedly continued into early Monday morning and resumed again later in the day.
A media blackout is in place during the negotiations, so no updates are being released by the city or union.
After the two sides met a week ago, talks broke down, reportedly due to a misunderstanding over the number of part-time workers the city wanted to hire to cover proposed Sunday shifts.
The city's 750 inside workers have been on strike since May 25 and without a contract since December.
Among the sticking points are wages, extending working hours to weekends and retirement benefits for new employees.
