London police closed the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Bradley Avenue on Monday afternoon after a serious multi-vehicle crash.
Officials say four vehicles were involved in the collision around noon and one male driver suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
The condition of others involved has not been released.
A YouTube video shows the Jaws of Life being used to extricate at least one person who had become trapped in one of the vehicles.
According to police, two pickups, a transport truck and a sedan were all involved in the crash.
The exit from both eastbound and westbound Highway 401 to Veterans Memorial Parkway were also closed following the crash.

Investigators say it's too early to know if any charges will be laid in the collision.
