Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public’s help, following the theft of copper wire from a wind turbine station.
Officers were called to Bush Line on Tuesday in Chatham Township for a reported theft. Through their investigation, police learned seven six inch sections of copper wire were taken from the wind turbine station.
The theft is believed to have happened between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The total value of copper wire taken is estimated at $5,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
