There's a new parking initiative in London.
It will allow drivers to use the receipt they bought at the pay and display meters downtown at any other meter - as long as it still has time on it.
The city made the announcement Wednesday. Officials say the receipt can be used until the time it expires at any on-street metered parking spots - including the pay and display meters or individual ones.
Receipts purchased in off street city parking lots are not eligible for the new program and cannot be used at the on-street parking meters.
