The driver has been charged, trains are being diverted and Subway Line is expected to remain closed until late Friday after a truck struck a rail bridge.
Ryan Tigchelaar, 33, has been charged with disobeying a sign under the Highway Traffic Act after the recycling truck he was driving hit the bridge Thursday morning.
Oxford County OPP say Subway Line between Highway 2 and Towerline Road will remain closed until Friday evening as repairs are completed.
CN Rail is also diverting trains to different rail lines while the work is being done.
The extent of the damage is still being assessed, but there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
CN Rail police are also at the scene to assist with the investigation.
