ContactJanuary 2022: Amanda Taccone is no longer with the company. Amanda Taccone started with the CTVNews.ca team as a digital content producer in Toronto in 2006.
In 2010 she moved on to lead the digital push as a web writer and then web producer with local CTVNews.ca teams, first in Kitchener and then in London, Ont.
Amanda helped produce the RTDNA Award-winning feature ‘Medical Marijuana: A budding industry’ and handles daily online and social media coverage of everything from politics, education and health to crime and the courts.
She holds an Hon. BSc. from the University of Toronto and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University.
When not buried in news, you’ll likely find her with her nose buried in a book.
Amanda also enjoys long walks with her dogs near her home in rural Middlesex Centre, Ont.
She speaks English and Italian and has a functional knowledge of French.
