A 21 year old Huron-Kinloss man is dead, following a collision involving a horse drawn Mennonite wagon on Bruce Road 7.
South Bruce OPP was called to the scene just before 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
A northbound Ford Taurus rear-ended the wagon carrying a load of lumber which was travelling in the same direction.
The 21 year old male driver of the wagon was ejected from the wagon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The driver of the Ford, a 35 year old man from Ripley, was transported by ambulance to a Kincardine hospital with minor injuries.
There were no passengers involved.
The investigation is continuing.
There’s no word on possible charges at this time.
