Two people have been transported to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on crash near Lobo on Wednesday morning.
OPP say the head-on crash involved two pickup trucks on Egremont Drive, west of Nairn Road, shortly after 8 a.m.
Police say a red Dodge pickup truck operated by a 66-year-old male from Strathroy was travelling eastbound on Egremont Drive, crossed the centre line and slammed into a black Chevrolet pickup truck operated by a 58-year-old female from Middlesex Centre.
The male driver of the red pickup truck was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. He is listed in fair condition.
The female driver in the black pickup truck had to be extricated from the vehicle. She is also listed in fair condition.
She was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
There were two dogs in her vehicle and one sustained life threatening injuries. It remains under vetrinary care.
Egremont Drive has since reopened.
The investigation continues.
