A school bus fire shut down several eastbound lanes of Highway 401 between Ingersoll and Woodstock on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene in Oxford County west of Sweaburg Rd. just before 5 p.m.
OPP say no passengers were on board and the fire was put out quickly, but the high flames certainly got the attention of passing motorists.
No one was injured and the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
All lanes were re-opened shortly before 6 p.m.
