The cab of a tractor trailer caught fire early Monday morning on Colonel Talbot Road just south of the 401.
When fire crews arrived the cab was engulfed in flames and the road way had to be closed down.
The tractor trailer was in the right hand northbound lane just south of Highway 401.
The trailer portion of the truck was carrying garbage which was a concern for fire crews; however fire fighters were able to contain the blaze to the engine and cab.
No one was injured in the fire.
