London firefighters were called out to a blaze just before 2 p.m. Thursday that damaged an auto parts shop.

Clarke Road was temporarily closed between Trafalgar Street and Gore Road as crews battled the fire.

Fire department sources say the fire is believed to have started in a car that was up on a hoist.

Flames were rolling out the service bay door when firefighters arrived, but they were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Still, the blaze managed to get into the roof structure of the building.

There is no estimate on the damage to the building or the vehicles inside.
