Grey County council is asking the province to place a moratorium on the construction of wind turbines in Ontario -- at least temporarily.
The move comes less than two weeks after Grey-Bruce's medical officer of health presented a report showing wind-turbines have consistently caused health problems.
The motion will be passed on to Grey-Bruce Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker and Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson.
The county's request builds on one that was sent to the province back in 2009, requesting the government take a closer look at some of the issues surrounding the turbines.
