Two seriously hurt in passenger vehicle collision with horse drawn carriage

A collision involving a horse drawn carriage in Norwich township on Friday afternoon has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

At roughly 4:00 p.m., police responded to a collision between a passenger vehicle and horse drawn carriage on Oxford Road 13.

The two people inside of the carriage were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupant of the vehicle was uninjured, and the horse died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
