A crash Saturday morning on Longwoods and Carriage Roads has left a two-year-old child with serious injuries.
Middlesex OPP is investigating the collision that happened about 10:30 a.m.
A Jeep and minivan collided near the Twin Streams golf course.
Police say the Jeep carrying a mother and two young boys was travelling southbound on Carriage Road. The vehicle proceeded through the intersection when it made contact with a minivan travelling westbound on Longwoods Road.
The two-year-old boy in the Jeep has serious injuries, but is in stable condition. He was airlifted to a local hospital.
The mother and four-year-old have non-life threatening injuries as does the lone male occupant of the minivan.
Middlesex County OPP closed Longwoods Road at Harris Road and Brigham Road for six hours. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team assisted with the investigation.
