Two people were arrested at a St. Thomas pharmacy, after police say they continued to pick up the prescription of someone who has been behind bars since February.
Stephanie Smith, 34, and Patrick Kellestine, 42, were arrested around 1 p.m. on Monday, after picking up prescription medication.
St. Thomas police say Smith continued to pick up the drugs for someone who has been in custody, obtaining about 504 tablets of hydromorphone with a street value of $12,600 since February.
Smith has been charged with 13 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of breach of probation.
Kellestine is facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of fail to comply with recognizance.
Both were being held pending a bail hearing.
