Two separate crashes in Oxford County on Wednesday have each sent a person to hospital with critical injuries.
One person was sent to hospital after a single-vehicle collision on Township Road 4 near Woodstock.
Oxford County OPP officers say emergency crews responded around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning to the crash between Oxford Road 4 and Blandford Road.
OPP traffic reconstruction investigators were also sent to the scene.
Police say the driver was transported to the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) with critical injuries.
Township Road 4 was temporarily closed for the investigation.
A second crash on Plank Line between Salford and Sweaburg Roads also saw a woman airlifted to LHSC with critical injuries.
The two-vehicle crash took place around midday and closed Plank Line for much of the afternoon.
OPP say there's no excuse for these types of accidents.
