Chatham-Kent police say a second individual has been arrested in an ongoing attempted murder investigation.
An 18-year-old Wallaceburg man is scheduled to appear in court on June 5, facing charges of obstructing police and accessory after the fact.
Officers say they responded to an altercation between two men known to each other at a residence on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg on May 20.
A 19-year-old Walpole Island man was transported to Sydenham District Hospital with life-threatening head injuries. He was later transferred to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
A 20-year-old Waplole Island man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing on June 4.
The 18-year-old male also remains in custody for his bail hearing on Thursday.
