As more details are being released, people living in a west London neighbourhood say they are still uneasy after the discovery of two bodies at an apartment building on Saturday afternoon.
Area resident Ross McAlster says “It’s pretty creepy. It’s like a horror movie come to life, pretty much. You don’t normally have this in these kinds of areas.”
The bodies of two men were found at an apartment building at 85 Fiddlers Green Road after calls from neighbours about a bad smell.
Megan Milam says “We walked out into the hallway and there was a pungent smell, a smell that you couldn’t get out of your nose.”
On Sunday, 38- -year-old Jason Cleveland was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of committing an indignity to a human body.
Cleveland has already spent six years in behind bars. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 2005 for the death of his business partner, Rosario Mark Masotti.
Police say they aren’t looking for any other suspects but the investigation is still ongoing.
John Dawson lives in the building and says “I’m just kind of in shock still, you know?”
Monday evening, investigators identified one of the deceased as 50-year-old Kevin David Walkey of London. Police say he died as a result of blunt force trauma to his head.
The identity of the second male is expected to be released after a post mortem examination is completed on Tuesday.
Cleveland is set to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
