One man was shot and killed in Orillia and police are looking for a suspect.
Orillia OPP were called to a Franklin Street residence just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning after the report of a shooting.
When emergency services arrived on scene they found a lone male victim.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
OPP are searching for the person or persons responsible but haven’t identified any suspects at this point.
Still, they say those involved should be considered armed and dangerous.
At this time, the name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification and a post mortem examination.
Anyone with information or knows who may be responsible is urged to immediately contact the OPP.
