Police are investigating after fatal crash in Thames Centre involving a motorcycle late Wednesday.
Middlesex County OPP, the Thames Centre Fire Department and Middlesex-London EMS were called to a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Hamilton Road around 10:40 p.m..
Police say that a motorcycle was travelling westbound on Hamilton Road west of Harris Road when another vehicle began turning eastbound onto Hamilton Road from a private drive.
When trying to stop for the other vehicle, the motorcycle tipped and skidded, ejecting the driver from the motorcycle, who was then struck by another vehicle.
OPP report the 59-year-old motorcycle driver, Ronald Weick of London, was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
There were no other injuries as a result of the collision.
The investigation continues.
