The Progressive Conservative candidate for London West is under fire after a comment he made during an all candidates debate.
Jeff Bennett was asked a question about his party's Million Jobs Plan and part of his answer caught the attention of the other candidates.
"I personally don't even believe that Mr. Hudak is in a position to go out and create a million jobs," Bennett said at the debate.
Bennett immediately came under fire by his opponents after making the statement, however he says it was taken out of context.
"Absolutely I believe in the plan. I have gone through all aspects of it. It includes eliminating corporate taxes, reducing taxes and eliminating red tape."
Bennett says the 17 second YouTube video doesn't portray his full answer about the Million Jobs Plan.
It took him around two minutes to make his full point.
When asked about it Thursday, PC leader Tim Hudak kept it short.
"Well I will see exactly what was said, because Jeff is a great candidate for us. He has a strong financial services background and I was thrilled when he put his name forward for us in London West."
It was a staff member of NDP Peggy Sattler's team that shot and posted the video.
Sattler says she see's nothing wrong with it.
"What we saw last night was a candidate who stepped back from the commitment to create a million jobs and that's the PC campaign and that's what Tim Hudak is telling Ontarians he will do."
The Liberals have also slammed the comment made by Bennett during the debate.
"The Million Jobs Plan is ridiculous if you can't have confidence in the team you're working with and if you can't have confidence in why you're doing this, then you shouldn't be doing this." says Liberal candidate Nick Steinberg.
"If we are going to be completely fair about it, then let's air the entire debate and I would be happy to have discussions with anybody at any point in time," retorts Bennett.
