A 19-year-old London teen is facing 21 charges for alleged graffiti markings in the downtown area.
The London Police Service Community Oriented Response Unit conducted 13-month investigation.
The investigation started in June 2012, when officers began noticing new graffiti markings, or tags, within the city. These tags, "CHEW" and "ADV" (All Day Vandals), were prevalent in the downtown area and in the area of Old South.
Police estimated that the accused has caused $4,400 worth of damage.
Wesley Demmerling, 19, was charged with 21 counts of mischief under $5,000.
