A woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle crash northeast of Grand Bend.
Huron County OPP, EMS and fire crews responded to Dashwood Road in the east end of Dashwood shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday for a collision.
An investigation has found a Ford Escape was westbound when it crossed the center line and collided first with a dump truck and then with a pickup truck pulling a camper trailer.
The driver of the Escape, 65-year-old Catherine Burdett of South Huron, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of the dump truck and pickup truck were not injured.
Members from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team are continuing their investigation.
